Implementasi Maqashid Syariah dalam Mekanisme Asuransi Syariah: Studi Kasus Lembaga Asuransi di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Maqashid Syariah in the mechanisms of Islamic insurance with a case study of insurance institutions in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. Maqashid Syariah, as the primary objective of Islamic law, should be reflected in the products and services of Islamic insurance. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of Maqashid Syariah in Islamic insurance institutions in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency is fairly good but still requires improvement in several aspects, particularly in terms of transparency and public education.
